Founder & Managing Director

Jean is a professionally trained dancer with experience in a vast variety of dance styles including ballet, jazz, tap, contemporary, commercial, spanish (classical & flamenco), bollywood, bellydance, cabaret and samba.

She has always been passionate about all forms of expressive dance, beginning her dance training at the age of 2 with classes in ballet, modern and tap. At the age of 11 she progressed to formal dance training at The Arts Educational School, Tring Park (now Tring Park School for the Performing Arts) where she obtained the National Diploma in Professional Dance qualification. During her time at Tring, she honed her technical dance skills and developed her performance and choreography skills. Since then, she has also had over 10 years of professional bollywood dance experience, including semi-classical, having trained and performed to a professional standard with ThreeBee Bollywood Dance Company.

Jean has performed at a variety of events such as weddings, corporate functions, music videos, public stage performances and high-profile charity fundraising events. She was also a dancer in the 2012 Olympics Opening Ceremony.

Jean founded Star Dancers UK to showcase the fusion of her favourite aspects from different dance styles into an exotic and energising performance style. She is passionate about delivering variety and excellence to every performance and has selected a talented team of dancers who are able to deliver this vision. As a teacher, she is able to bring out the best in her students in a friendly and encouraging manner. Jean is an experienced choreographer who has an inate ability to translate the essence of a song into expressive movement.
